This is where we bring classroom learning to life by collaborating with members of our school community. Throughout the semester, our students work on a variety of real-world projects, applying their skills to solve creative challenges and deliver professional-quality work.

 

Our Process: From Bootcamp to Client

 

Our journey begins with mini skill-building 'bootcamps' designed to equip students with the tools they need for success. Before we even start on client work, every student dives into specialized training to master key areas:

• Canva Pro: Creating visuals such as logos, short films, websites, etc. and understanding canva's app database and AI integration.

• Understanding Branding: Analyzing a variety of brand guides, learning about our school's brand guide and developing their own stylized 'brand guide.'

• UX/UI Design: Learning the basic principles of user experience and interface design to look at case studies and provide feedback .

• Podcasting: Learning the art of audio storytelling, from recording and editing to sharing with others.

• Filmmaking and Animation: Bringing stories to life through video and motion graphics.

 

Once the bootcamps are complete, our student designers are ready to tackle client projects, using their new skills to deliver impactful results.
